Last time I missed it by a whisker! This time i won't.
They came here for the first time and I was not there. My friends called me up and I could actually hear warbled sounds coming out of my mobile which sounded like "Trooper" being played Live!!! My heroes were performing full throttle and I was sitting in a shabby green room getting ready to perform for a college fest in Bhubaneswar, faa......aar away from Bengaluru.
A year has passed and Iron Maiden is going to kick off their World Tour "Somewhere Back In Time " today at MMRDA grounds (Mumbai)!! Umzz is also going to land in a few hours from now, he must be on his way. BTW Umzz and I are absolutely in sync (and fanatic too) with our choices in music......the glorious 80's, NWOBHM bands and the KING of them all IRON MAIDEN.
So here I am, all excited bout my rendezvous with Bruce, Nicko, Adrian, Dave, Janick, Steve and none other than EDDIE himself.
What will I do when I see them in front of me? What will I do when Bruce says "Scream for me Mumbai"? Will the opening acts be booed or will they do a decent job to pacify the metalheads waiting to see their Gods on stage? ......for all such answers keep watching this space.
